Influence of Threats of the Preterm Birth to the Intra and Postnatal Periods of Infants

Abstract

Background. In case of malfunctioning of various systems of the mother's body, numerous adaptive changes are observed during pregnancy. Objective: To assess the significance of risk factors of the intra- and postnatal periods in pregnant women with threats in the earliest births. Materials and methods. a retrospective analysis was carried out, 350 birth histories were studied in pregnant women who had cases of childbirth during a gestation of 30-34 weeks of pregnancy. Results. Out of 221 newborns 179 were born alive, 42 newborns died due to deep immaturity, 87 of them were discharged home, 92 newborns were sent for further research and treatment in the Samarkand Regional Children's Multidisciplinary Center, where we continued our research. Conclusion. A retrospective analysis showed that untimely identification of risk factors for developmental development occurs in 63.1% of cases. Intra- and postnatal mortality in up to 23.5% of cases.
