Abstract

This paper proposes controlling of wind turbine that is connected to an industrial plant, here a fourlegged inverter which utilizes SVPWM technique is considered, which allows to inject the available power, Active power and removing some of the disturbances there by improving the Power quality. When there are reactive, nonlinear and unbalanced single, intra phase loads the controller towards the grid is hence designed to meet the requirement, hence providing Active and Reactive power. In the absence of Wind power, a DC-link capacitor with a power electronic converter supplies the required power and thereby improving Power quality here the DC-link capacitor is connected to the grid, the harmonic reduction is taken place using the SVPWM technique. Using this control method flexibility, effective functionality of the Power grid operation is attained.
