The visualization of existing and future agricultural plantation is becoming more important for monitoring crops as well as for decision-making, as it considerably helps to influences the production. In the light of the shortcomings of the traditional cultivation practices are the major causes for the decline in productivity. In this line, 3D visualization system has been widely used in several industries. This study explored the potential use of online Three-Dimensional (3D) visualization system into the agricultural plantation especially for monitoring coconut farming. This study is aimed at introducing the possible application aspects of online 3D visualization system in monitoring coconut plantation which will enable plantation managers to more efficiently manage their fields for crop yields and henceforth to make decisions. This study explored the online 3D visualization technique based on Unity3D game engine for plantation managers to grasp monitoring visual conditions of plantation area immediately and intuitively, and it explains the methodological approaches, process, and techniques used to achieve the research goals. Indeed, the evidence finds that the developed online 3D visualization technique may be an effective visualization tool in the domain of monitoring information dissemination to farmers. It will also be adapted for advancing decision makers in order to increase the crop production and other activities related to the crop. The research is of great practical significance.
