This article is devoted to the features and problems of staging a historical epic on the stage of the puppet theater. The legacy of great historical figures, thinkers and enlighteners of different eras and peoples shows that their ideas about upbringing and education are relevant in our rapidly changing time. Based on the study of historical facts, theoretical research and analysis of practical activities in the field of tetra doll art, specific features and methods of applying special means of artistic expression that can be used to solve the stage embodiment of the folk epic in a puppet theater were identified and generalized.
