This article presents an overview of the main modern pedagogical methods of teaching pathological anatomy to students of medical universities. The effectiveness of using the academic time allotted for teaching pathological anatomy in the educational standard is noted. Necessity of use of modern methods of reading of a lecture material and carrying out of practical classes is shown.
