Abstract

In this study, the researchers evaluated the perceived mobile utilitarian experience of the Daylio-mood tracker app using a post-interaction questionnaire. The post-interaction questionnaire is based on four utilitarian factors that were adopted from prior studies. The evaluation was carried out with 14 respondents that comprised both staff and students from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). The outcome of the perceived utilitarian assessment of the Daylio-mood tracker mobile application revealed that most participants had a good utilitarian experience with the app and were satisfied and impressed with its utilitarian quality. However, users’ feedback indicated a number of issues to be fixed on the app in order to further improve on its quality and foster a better mobile user experience.
