Abstract

The recent active and tempestuous corporate environment has enforced corporations that are competing in worldwide markets to transform their outmoded procedures of conducting business. Recent growths in e-commerce offer a lot of business openings in the market. Organisations must necessarily re-estimate each and every aspect of their business policy and swiftly interchange to a working mode where their success can be assured through e-commerce. The Internet provides an extraordinary infrastructure for channelizing information. The business-to-business and business-to-customer sections encompass both common and differing features that must be considered and studied properly to prosper in implementing an electronic based commerce strategy. This study examines the impact of ecommerce in silk industry and the factors responsible for the growth of ecommerce in silk industry of India.
