Abstract

Medical term for image processing is also known as medical imaging. Medical image processing is a technique or an approach of making visual representations of the body for the purpose of clinical analysis for diagnosing and treating diseases. It has made easy to see the internal portions of the body by doctors and experts for easy analysis. This process also creates an information base of normal physiology and anatomy to basically identify abnormalities. There are such techniques for measurement and recording that do not basically produce images but produce data which is equally important and identical to formation of graphs vs. time representation and maps which contain all data about the location of measurement such as Electroencephalography (EEG), Magneto Encephalography (MEG) and Electrocardiography (ECG). If we compare these technologies are nothing but are forms of image processing. Techniques of image processing are develop to sense data and to view the outcome which easily analyze the symptoms of various diseases with ease. Patient’s diseases are detected with ease using techniques of medical imaging. This technique has made understanding of a disease very easy through images.
