This study aims to develop a digital system to detect the image segmentation of the syafawiyah makharijul letters in the Al Qur'an. In this study, researchers used the jaccard similarity method to detect the image segmentation of makharijul letters shafawiyah in the Al Qur'an. From the results of this study it was found that the detection system of Makafarijul Shafawiyah letters using jaccard similarity was able to detect the segmentation of Shafawiyah letter images that had simple and complex backgrounds and varied with detection rates in the range of 60% to 80%. Implications and suggestions for further research are discussed at the end of this study.
