Accounting Information System and Inventories Design at Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport Restaurant

Abstract

This study aims to design accounting and inventory information systems in One of restaurant at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport. This research is applied research. The object of research is One of restaurant at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport. Data collection methods consist of: interviews, observations, and observations. The analytical method used is PIECES analysis, system requirements analysis, and the feasibility analysis of the TELOS system. The software used is SQL Server and Microsoft Visual Studio. The results of this study indicate that: The functions related to sales accounting information systems are front liners, kitchens, bars, cashiers, and accounting, while for inventory are warehouse and accounting functions. The documents used in the sales accounting information system are the order and sales hits, and for inventory are the purchase notes. The record used in the sales accounting information system is the sales record, while inventory is a stock card. Sales accounting information system procedures include recording orders, processing orders, presenting orders, accepting payments, and recording. As for inventory are the selling and buying procedures. Based on PIECES analysis it can be concluded that the old system still has many weaknesses in all six aspects, and based on an analysis of system requirements, functionally and non-functionally, new system design is needed for the company. Based on the results of the system feasibility analysis, this system is considered feasible from the five aspects of TELOS.
