It is important for sharpening students' thinking skills as a form of assessing their abilities. The purpose of this research is to analyze the ability of high-level thinking in students. Data collection using descriptive quantitative methods with test instruments that have been tested for validity and reliability. The data was tested on class XI at the age of Senior High school (SMA) regency with a population of 200 students. The results of calculations for the variable Level of Thinking Ability based on the school area that all the average value with a high category, both in the village and in the city. Based on gender that all average scores are also categorized high, both women and men. Based on the indicator that all average values are also categorized high with a value of 3.95.
