In this paper inverse analysis is performed to estimate the parameters influencing the experimental results, conducted on 4 different types of 16 no beams of 200 mm x 200 mm cross section and span of 2500 mm by applying point load at mid span using loading frame of 15000 kN capacity. The deflection obtained due to the imposed load was measured along the span of the beam member, the results thus obtained was analyzed to find the parameters influencing the beam. As we know that there is a difference in the modulus of elasticity measured experimentally on the concrete sample specimen and the modulus of elasticity obtained with concrete casted as a beam member. The results obtained was able to bridge the gap between the sample results and the casted beam member results and to some extent even the reason for the difference in the results.
