In this study the physical and chemical parameters were studied from the inlet of effluent treatment plant of automobile wastewater before the treatment and from outlet of effluent treatment plant after the treatment. The various physical parameters such as pH, turbidity, total solids, suspended solids, volatile suspended solids, total dissolve solids and Chemical parameters like chlorides, sulfates, nitrates, D.O, B.O.D, C.OD, iron, phosphorus and their removal efficiency were studied. The efficiency of various treatment units such as activated sludge process, and filtration were studied.
