Monalisa .D. Patel,A .M. Pande,Abhishek Joshi
Abstract

High rise structures are being designed and constructed in Class B & Class C cities in India. It is necessary to understand behaviour of these buildings under variable wind loads. This paper relates to analysis of a G+26 building being constructed in Nagpur. Column orientation is found to be important for making the tall structure strong enough to resist wind loads. The paper presents details of analysis carried out in PG project. The outcome of this project may prove beneficial in analysing and designing tall structures with appropriate orientations of columns.
