Abstract

The extensiveness of capillariosis invasion in cattle averaged 11.9%, in sheep - 3.46%, in goats - 5.7%. The invasion of cattle of all age groups by trichocephalum in all seasons of the year averaged 25.5%. Sheep are infected with trichocephalus by an average of 5.64%. Tested medications (artemisitan, alverm, boluses with albendazole, tetramizole, sodium closanthel and avermectin boluses) showed high extense- and intensity efficiency (100%) in ruminant trichocephalatoses. Boluses with albendazole, tetramizole, sodium closanthel and avermectin for 110-120 days prevent spontaneous infection of ruminants with trichocephalates in summer.
