Many institutes of higher learning are exploring micro-credentials due to its emerging use in recent years. This disruptive idea of competency-based education enables learners to demonstrate their knowledge, skills and values gained using shareable digital badges, where a transparent and verifiable system is being used in the recognition of learning artefacts. Realizing the infinite potential of micro-credentials, the university has initiated a complete cycle of micro-credentials trial to testify its effective implementation in learning.
