Currently, the interaction between human and machines are moving far away from computer systems and are becoming extensive and in tune with the physical word. In this way the interaction distance between the human and machine is being reduced with invention of new technologies. Robots along with hand gestures recognition are playing a vital role in automation among all the industrial sector like manufacturing, packing, etc. The aim of this project is to built the ability to recognize and interpret objects to pick and place them with the help of a robot. These gestures are mainly used in order to interact and control a system without any direct physical contact. This involves wireless communication and a machine to interface with the object for gesture control.
