The results of a study of technological properties of PCA with the application of AFR resins providing the effectiveness of their practical use as adhesive materials are presented in the paper. The experiments showed that the water retention capacity (ΔB) of the PCA depends on the type of DBM filler and the content of the AFR resin, and on the activation of mix. So, with an increase in the content of fly ash from 60 to 80%, ΔB increases from 90 to 94%. This is explained by the porosity of fly ash particles, which significantly increases the overall specific surface area of DBM. As was shown in [7], while Ssp of fly ash not considering the pores is 300 m2/kg, then considering the pores it increases by 3 times. The increase in the production duration of DBM due to the increase in specific surface increases ΔВ. The introduction of the AFR additive, due to the significant content of hydroxyl groups in it (16–18%), increases the wetting ability of DBM particles and, accordingly, the water-retention ability of the PCA of the optimal formulation by 16 points. Similar changes are characteristic for sand-filled PCA.
