With the advancement of wireless communication systems and the advent of 5 th Generation of cellular networks, the need for fast and efficient services are ever increasing. A fine balance is required between offered services, keeping in mind the availability of resources and other realistic constraints. A wide range of services, each demanding a different set of resources are supported by LTE networks. In this context, a challenging issue is the limitation on the available spectral resources. Accordingly, efficient resource allocation for the user is the primary concern. Resource allocation problem should deal with throughput provisioning, while giving an ensured dimension of fulfilment for differing administrations as far as their QOS. A complete methodology is to consider the previously mentioned issue as a Knapsack problem. The focal commitment of this examination is to lead an exhibition investigation of the different existing calculations that take care of this issue and concentrate their extension in5G.
