Abstract

The author of the article considers the phenomenon ‘culture’ as a whole developing through time. The systematic and historical approach to the existing entities clarifies the issues of plurality of cultures and versatile nature of mutual relations. Based on the conception of the system and structure world organization and evolutionary processes occurring in the world and also philosophical ideas and principles the author proposes the idea of non-occasional conflict and unity of various cultures but unavoidable cultural phenomena reflecting an objecting process of an internal systematic changes in human culture. The unity or synthesis of cultures being the purpose of the socio-cultural development, the conflict or confrontation of cultures is a transitionary condition of development of the human culture system. This transitionary condition ensures the very essential isolation which is required for various cultures, being structural elements of the human culture system, to acquire the status of independent elements of the system entity in order to further achieve their organic unity. The present research proposes some arrangements aimed at realizing free unity of various cultures,i. e. the development of the human culture system as a ‘humanlike object’.
