This study aims to examine Kuala Kangsar District Islamic Education teachers’ understanding on the implementation of 21st century learning. This study used the quantitative approach and employed the survey method. This study involved 140 Islamic education teachers from Kuala Kangsar District primary schools and the data were analysed using descriptive analysis to explain the level of Islamic education teachers’ understanding on the implementation of 21st century learning. The findings of the study show that Islamic education teachers in Kuala Kangsar have clear understanding of the implementation of 21st century education as the latest approach in the education system. This study’s finding implies that Islamic education teachers, who are the main artery who will carry out the teaching and facilitation in the classroom should undergo more training or courses to increase their understanding on 21st century learning.
