Materials composed of ultra-soft particles like vesicles, metal powders, microgels, which are highly deformable without fracture. Their mechanical behavior is controlled by particle are arrangements as well as particle shape changes. In particular, the packing fraction can surpass a random close parking (RCP) state. In this paper, we use two different approaches to analyze the texture of deformable particle materials. The first approach is the Bonded Particle Model (BPM) in which the deformable particles are discretize by rigid primary particles with cohesive interactions between them. The second approach is the Material Point Method (MPM), which is applied to soft particle materials. Using these two methods, we study the evolution of the texture (contact anisotropy, contact force distribution…) of deformable particle systems.
