The code compression plays vital role to improve the performance of the processor. The code compression techniques are proposed to minimize the code size of the program using different compression algorithms to achieve the better compression efficiency. In this proposed system, Dictionary and bitmask based fixed and variable frequency algorithm has been tested with ATMEGA328 Processor using different application programs such as Industrial automation and Home automation, Such algorithm reduces the code size and gives the better compression efficiency. This system also produces better decompression efficiency by eliminating the decompression overhead.
