Abstract

In this research investigates the assessment of dimensional variations during the turning process of E0300 alloy steel, employing a variety of inserts under both dry and wet cutting conditions. Ensuring dimensional accuracy in turned components holds paramount importance for industries such as automotive and aerospace, where stringent tolerances are imperative for optimal performance. The research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of different cutting inserts in mitigating dimensional discrepancies. Experimental trials are conducted under controlled dry and wet cutting conditions to analyze the influence of cutting environments on dimensional precision. The outcomes yield valuable insights into the selection of cutting inserts and fluids to enhance dimensional accuracy in the turning of E0300 alloy steel components, thereby bolstering manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
