The Employee Management System (EMS) is a web-based solution designed to modernize and automate critical human resource (HR) operations, reducing dependency on manual processes. Traditional HR management methods, such as paper-based record-keeping and spreadsheet-based payroll processing, are prone to errors, inefficiencies, and security vulnerabilities. The proposed EMS integrates employee data management, attendance tracking, payroll automation, and leave management into a centralized, secure, and scalable platform. Leveraging modern web technologies such as React.js, Node.js, and MongoDB, the system ensures real-time data updates, secure role-based access control, and seamless IT integration. Unlike existing HR software, which is either costly or lacks customization for small businesses, this EMS is affordable, adaptable, and user-friendly, making it a practical solution for businesses of all sizes. By streamlining HR operations, the EMS is expected to enhance data accuracy, minimize administrative workload, improve compliance, and increase employee satisfaction. The implementation follows a structured development process, ensuring robust security, high performance, and ease of use.
