Background: This unique combination not only boosts cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength but also cultivates flexibility, balance, and inner calm, fostering holistic health and graceful aging. This fusion enhances aerobic capacity, reduces stress, and promotes overall health. The program serves as a balanced intervention addressing physical and psychological needs in midlife women. The training was envisioned to inspect the stimulus of step aerobics combined with suryanamaskar on functional and bio chemical variables of middle aged women. Procedures: For the purpose of the study, 40 middle-aged women from Andhra University, aged 35 to 45 years, were selected as participants. They were randomly assigned to two equal groups (n=20). Group I underwent step aerobics combined with Suryanamaskar training (SACWSG), while Group II served as the control group (CG). The experimental group followed the training program three days per week for eight weeks. The variables chosen for assessment were breath-holding time, measured through the breath-holding fitness test, and low-density lipoprotein levels, analyzed through blood tests. Pre- and post-tests were conducted on separate days after a standardized warm-up. Outcome: The data were analyzed using the paired sample âtâ test, with the level of significance set at 0.05. Step aerobics combined with Suryanamaskar showed a positive impact on breath-holding time and low-density lipoprotein levels among women kabaddi players. The findings of the study further indicated significant improvement in breath-holding time and vital capacity, which can be attributed to the effects of low-intensity steady-state training in middle-aged women. Assumption: The data collected from the subjects were statistically analyzed to assess breath-holding time and low-density lipoprotein levels, which showed significant improvement as a result of step aerobics combined with Suryanamaskar training. The findings of the present study are consistent with earlier research reports. Hence, it is concluded that step aerobics combined with Suryanamaskar significantly enhances breath-holding time and reduces low-density lipoprotein among middle-aged women.
