Sustainability of Favor in Culinary Business Community of Bandung Society: Critical Discourse Analysis

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the religious values as the causes of business favor. Usually, business is oriented to profit and benefit, development, and sustainability. This paper reveals the concept of favored business sustainability. Data are taken from culinary business community as the empirical samples in Bandung Regency. The method used is CDA (Critical Discourse Analysis) in macro level. The results of the analysis are presented in diagram and its descriptive explanation is given in economic terms based on religious values. It is concluded that there should be revitalization of religious values in conducting the business in their society.
