Abstract

Female employment in the Arab world is an important developmental indicator which has showed interesting trends since the 1990s. In this paper the authors have analysed the gender statistics provided by the world bank for the Arab region and highlighted some of the interesting trends which trace the changes of women’s work environment and ability.
