An Enhancement of Image Steganography Scheme with High Visual Image Quality Based on inverting Map with Two Control Random Functions and Affine Cipher

Because of increasing attention of secretive data transmission, steganography has played important role in the field of communication with a greater notice, especially in image steganography. The major challenges of image steganography are imperceptibility of the stego image and security of system to stop recoverability of the secret data. A new steganography scheme based on inverting map and two control random parameters have suggested, to stop against these challenges. The focus of this study is to improve the Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) of the image with maximum security. In order to increase the security level, the affine cipherwas used to encrypt the data and Huffman coding method to minimize the encrypt data prior to the embedment for increasing payload ability. A potential of the scheme started by examining the matching between LSB and secret bits, and relationship to estimate 0 which indicate double and 1 as each word in the embedment, while the segmentation of encrypted data to map and track all the bits in stego image. The inversing map is used to check the match between bits in original image and bits of the secret message before embedding, if a number of matching bits is less than mismatched bits, then invert secret message and embed it, otherwise embed secret bits directly. The results show an improvement of the proposed scheme compared to other existing methods.
